Life in the Garden

This year I managed to finally complete our back garden. It's taken 17 years to tame (sort of) this area, and now with the addition of raised beds, I can finally plant a vegetable garden and try to stay ahead of the weeds. Growing rapidly are tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, sugar snap peas, cucumbers, sweet potatoes, watermelon, green beans, lima beans, basil, oregano, sage, parsley and lots of flowers. It remains to be seen if we can claim the produce before the squirrels and rabbits.
